14 most expensive houses in Bath

The city of Bath. What a city. I love it. The grandeur architecture of an elegant bygone era, the ancient Roman baths, and the not to be missed Thermae Spa. I’m not surprised that the most expensive houses in Bath are also some of the most expensive houses outside of London.

There’s something regal about the city that attracts the well-healed and those that might want the Victorian sophistication but think London is a bit too much.

Not surprisingly, the most expensive homes in Bath are the big Victorian and Georgian town houses. The Circus is the most expensive road in Bath, closely followed by Lansdown Crescent.

1. Lansdown Crescent, Bath – £4,500,000

The most expensive house in Bath is £4.5 million. It is located on the exclusive Lansdown Crescent and provides sweeping views across the city. This terraced town house is also the largest house in Bath, covering a crazy 9,700 square feet across five floors and an annexe. Just look at the interiors, I feel like a poor Victorian orphan just looking at the grandeur of this home.

6. Johnstone Street, Bath – £3,400,000

The people of Bath certainly have style and sophistication in their bones. This expensive mansion in Bath is named Pitt House, because it was the home of former British prime minister, William Pitt.
